Experienced Business Analyst

We are looking for an Experienced Business Analyst to strengthen our team working onsite with our strategic partner in Bern.

Tasks:

• Capture technical specifications in strategic and operational management to map requirements for data analysis, models, and analysis methods.
• Develop complex analyses and data-based functional models for the development, enhancement, and digitization of tools for strategic and operational business management.

Your Profile

• Hold a completed technical, scientific, or mathematical master's degree or similar
• Experience in software engineering with modern software development approaches and techniques such as Agile, BizDevOps, Pair Programming, CI/CD, Testing, Versioning
• Advanced knowledge in Java and Python as well as basic knowledge in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• With your strong analytical skills and knowledge of methods, you maintain an overview even with large amounts of data and apply model-based problem-solving strategies
• You have good language skills in German
• Strong English skills
• Mathematics and statistics-oriented programming languages (R, Matlab, etc.) (Nice to Have)
• Knowledge of Scala and Spark would be advantageous
