Professional Test Engineer

We are looking for a Professional Test Engineer to strengthen our team working onsite with our strategic partner in Bern.

Tasks:

• Analysis of requirements and specifications for automated and manual tests
• Managing test cases and ensuring that requirements are adequately covered
• Evaluation and documentation of test results
• Execution of test cases (manual or automatic) and analysis of results
• Creation of test reports to document test stages and defects
• Defining and collecting test metrics

Your Profile

• Higher education in computer science (university, ETH, FH) or comparable education
• Proven understanding in test automation and scripting (ideally Cucumber)
• Knowledge with tools such as JIRA XRAY, Splunk, Grafana, IntelliJ, Git
• Practical experience in the Java programming language
• Test management and testing methodology
• Ability to document defects and coordinate fixes
• Familiarity with agile approaches and frameworks
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Language: Very good German (oral and written)
