Senior DevOps Engineer with Java

Job Overview

For our Lugano Branch (TI) we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in deploy and configure Java/Spring boot based applications to join our team for an exciting banking project.

This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance and extend the build and deployment pipelines for a sophisticated banking system ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes. 

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts for automation and system integration tasks 
• Configuration management and orchestration of software deployments
• Manage and troubleshoot applications
• Maintain fluent communication and documentation in English to support a global team and client base
• Collaborate closely with project teams to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

• Scientific bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience
• Solid Linux know-how and proficiency in Unix Shell scripting is essential
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Strong experience in deploy and configure Java/Spring boot based applications 
• Hands-on experience with Graphana and Prometheus 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• We do not offer a fully remote work policy;
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese etc.)
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
