Responsibilities

• Implementing and extending features of Appway processes
• Modify existing Appway process software to correct errors
• Design, develop and modify software systems to meet new requirements and improve performance
• Proactively fix bugs in case of tickets assigned to the team
• Contribute to the stories definition in an Agile approach
• Proactively participate to the Scrum Ceremonies, in order to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

Your profile:

• Experience with Appway or other BPMN or strong Java developer (the last option requires Appway training mandatory)
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, information systems or technology
• 3-5 years in IT Project Delivery as Developer/Technical Consultant or an equivalent position
• Demonstrable proficiency in one core programming language (Java is preferred, Python, C#)
• Strong Knowledge of computer science fundamentals: object oriented programming, database, design patterns, Web Services, UML and algorithms
• Good knowledge of database technologies, including SQL
• Demonstrable experience with various integration protocols, including different kinds of Web Service frameworks
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies would be a plus

Location and Work Flexibility

• Please note that a fully remote work policy is not offered for this role
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or to Italian border areas close to Switzerland
