Fincons is looking for a Tableau Platform & Business Intelligence Engineer

Required Profile:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, analytics platforms, information systems, or related domains.
• 3+ years of hands-on Tableau Server administration in enterprise or multi-environment environments.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including dashboards, reports, workbooks, published data sources, and extracts.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable BI reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting production BI environments, troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and documenting operational procedures.
• Strong expertise in SQL, relational databases, data extracts, file-based data sources, and scheduled refresh processes.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, service owners, infrastructure teams, database teams, and external vendors.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Tableau Server upgrades, backup/restore, and platform maintenance.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Tableau APIs, tabcmd).
• Understanding of database performance tuning, views, extracts, and connection strategies.
• Familiarity with AWS Athena or similar cloud-based query services.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data governance, lineage, and reporting standards.
• Experience with Confluence, Git, or similar collaboration/version-control tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL service management practices.
• Experience with Power BI administration and report development.
• Strong communication, documentation, training, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in multicultural and distributed environments.
• Experience managing multiple priorities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Knowledge of a second UN language is a plus.

Desirable Certifications:

  • Educational Qualifications: Advanced university degree in Computer Science,       Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

• Tableau Certifications: Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Tableau Certified Consultant, Tableau Certified Architect, or comparable current Tableau certification is desirable.

• Service Management Certifications: ITIL, Scrum, PRINCE2 Agile.

• Other Certifications: Relevant database, cloud, data management, or information security certifications.

Language knowledge: English B2+

Office: Full-remote, including outside Europe.

Rate: 300-350€/per day
